Hey, Paul Swe here, posting for the first time. Due to a quirk with of our system, I have received admin privileges! The power may or may not be going to my head. But enough about my decline into insanity – I’ve made another addition to our Prototype Fortnight that you might be interested in.
Presenting Real Time Shapes, an affectionate take on real-time strategy combat mechanics for our flat world, and just as buggy as my last one. If you don’t believe me, give it a go!
Click through to have a play, and please be sure to comment – we’ll certainly be taking user feedback into account when deciding which of these directions to go in.
Stay tuned for more prototypes, if we manage to squeeze any more in. I’ve got a day left, I can make something!
And now, without further ado, Real Time Shapes:

Controls: Arrow keys move the camera. Select and command units as if it were an RTS game. More detailed instructions in game, but I’m sure you’ll figure it out. And if you don’t, I won’t blame you – I was pretty skimpy on the details.
