“Particulars makes learning physics fun, combining an intriguing story with arcade-puzzle gameplay that seems reminiscent of the award-winning Osmos.”

Richard Moss, Mac Life

“Without a doubt, Particulars was the highlight of PAX for me. It’s an exceptional game.”

Daniel Wilks, Editor of Hyper Magazine

“The game feels fantastic, it’s a joy to whiz around the simple environment”

David Ferris, Kotaku

“It’s a story-led, arcade puzzle game that seems to have a lot of intelligent thought about it.”

Cara Ellison, Rock Paper Shotgun

“the combination of that type of gameplay with the outerlying narrative concerning Alison’s pursuit of clarity is what really makes Particulars noteworthy… given SeeThrough’s previous efforts in fusing narrative and arcade gameplay in Flatland, I can only imagine this being a very interesting project.”

Chris Priestman, Indie Statik

“I haven’t cried playing a video game before; it’s not like it’s a habit. But there’s something about the loneliness of being a down quark all alone in a subatomic space that really underlined the joy in finding an anti-down quark to combine with.”

Grant Howitt, The Guardian

(original flash game) “Particle physics and casual game play melded together? YOU’VE GOT MY ATTENTION.”

Eitan, Fire Hose Games

“I bought this through their website and would recommend it. It’s really a rather clever game and like Flatland: Fallen Angles has a really strong narrative. Do give it a try.”

“This game is Amazing. I would definatly recommend this game to a friend”, in-game feedback

“This game is glorious and deserves the attention that steam would bring to it. Met the devs at PAX and they’re incredibly great people who completely deserve this. I hope it gets in, I’ll be one of the first customers! :D”

“I didn’t even need to play this at PAX, Just watching others play inspired me, this game was mentioned at Panels with Jeff Cannata as the “Best Game at PAX” and i rate it highly as well and eagerly await its release on steam … Instabuy. Also thanks to the Devs for taking the time out to chat about this game and “Burden” that looks equally AWESOME!”

“I played this at PAX Australia and loved it. Games and particle physics = Perfect. I hope it gets through :)”

static_22, Greenlight page

“looks awesome, can’t wait for such a unique game!”

ComandoCreeper, Greenlight page

“This is one of the few games I’ve seen that has the space to acommodate “serious game” elements in it, to help people learn the basics of physics or chemistry. You might want to look into that for a separate project :P”

goncalofsilva.25, Greenlight page

“Looks very interesting, and, knowing some particle physics myself, I am extremely excited about how creative the developers will be and how closely they will adhere to the acctual science. This is also a very interesting concept with the way puzzles looked, very excited!”

shriyash.upadhyay, Greenlight page

“LOVE games with good stories that make you think. This really sounds like something I would enjoy a lot :D”

Flatland: Fallen Angle

Won Best Writing in an Australian Game, Freeplay 2012

“It’s brilliant. The lowest classes of workmen and soldiers in Flatland are Isosceles triangles and you are thrown into the midst of the story with a Bastionesque narrator and a dead body in your living room. You will be playing an Isosceles triangle on the run.”

Lily Ellis, Dual Ring

(German translation) “extremely impressive – and a little gem that I hereby wish you put your heart into.”

(Italian translation) “The full title was developed in only 96 hours, and yet can boast a rare cleaning: the simple graphic sector (supported by Unity) is pleasant and efficient, the pace of the game well balanced and the atmosphere of the original faithfully reproduced .”

Mark Maresca, Indie Vault

“it’s atmospheric, smart and does a great job of the unusual melange of simple line-art, breathless Pac Man-esque outrunning of foes and a doomy, nuanced narrative.”

Alec Meer, Rock Paper Shotgun

“Trust me, if you haven’t checked the game out already and are even the slightest bit intrigued by what you’ve heard about it, you’ll want to jump all over it. “

Chris Priestman, Indie Statik

“If there was ever a good example to point towards for how to make your game look decent without an artist on board, Flatland: Fallen Angle is it.”

Chris Priestman, Indie Game Mag

“my fears were put to rest: this is not another (endless) runner! In fact, it’s not even endless, and instead of the typical run/jump/swipe of most runners, here the player is tasked with creating a safe path for this guy to traverse… and, ROBOTS!”

“We spent ages playing this game and it’s awesome how much you just want him to keep going”

Jamie Frier, Pocket-World

“this game is the perfect time crusher for those arbitrary yet unavoidable gaps in your day”

Thomas Hellier, Capsule Computers

“The game’s whimsical art, soundtrack and sense of humour really set it apart”

Best Weekend

“released… without the world ending too severely”

Judyd2861 (UK)

★★★★★ – Great game – I really like this game. Firstly it has really nice artwork and catchy music. But more importantly the gameplay is really addictive. The levels are not hard to complete but you can replay them many times to try to get a high score. The infinite mode is a good addition, though it’s really tough when you get a wide chasm or a couple of spiky robot obstacles in a row.I will definitely be playing Unstoppablebot more. A great find!

Atomikrej (Australia)

★★★★★ – Fun and gorgeous – I love the chunky colourful graphics style of the robots and the music of course. For some reason every time the little unstoppabot dies I am even more determined to succeed!

Radia9850 (Australia)

★★★★★ – Incredibly Polished – This game is great and surprisingly genuinely funny. You need to have good reflexes to keep up with Unstoppabot and you need to know what to place down to beat the level which gives two layers of difficulty that most apps don’t have. If you mess up you don’t start too far back either. Over all a fantastic game.

coldsteele (US)

★★★★★ – Great game – Didn’t know what to expect from this game, really enjoyed what I got. It’s weird, most iOS games aren’t very funny, but this one manages to be even though you don’t really expect it.

stelluhreyesthis (US)

★★★★★ – Hang on, this is FREE?! – WUT. Unstoppabot is a lovely little puzzle game that will make you gnash your teeth in frustration at its ingenuity. Its endearing soundtrack, great hand-drawn art and copious sarcasm separate it from the flock and elevate it to a casual game worthy of your time.

Shapes on a Plane

Buy it

“If you are doing a 2D or 2.5D game you need to get this. It keeps up with your imagination, and unlike some other assets it won’t bog down the editor or your game. I am building large levels for iOS, and it always runs great.

I can honestly say out of everything I have purchased off the asset store, SOAP is easily the best value for the money. Yes it is super simple, but that is a huge plus in my opinion.

I can’t believe the amount of time this tool has saved me, BUY IT! : )

P.S. I Had a bit of a hiccup with the asset, contacted the author and he had it sorted out in less then 24 hours. Great customer support as well!”

Curtis Martindale,

“I was looking for a way to build environments fast for my sidescroller, but at the same time avoiding using tiles because I wanted a more organic look. Enter “Shapes on a Plane”! Now I’m creating silouettes of mountain ranges, trees, clouds and other stuff in no time from within Unity. A huge time saver. The interface is simple but I’m not missing a single feature.”

Mr O.,

“Thanks to the creators for putting this up on the store; I was just about to make this exact tool for myself, so that $10 asking price is well worth the saved time.

It does everything I want it to with an incredibly easy and straight forward interface. Great work.”
